The worldwide fanclub of Alexander Rybak, based in Denmark, organises a charity fundraise every year around Alexander’s birthday. This year Alexander wanted this charity to be Haydom Lutheran Hospital!
Alexander Rybak is the winner of the Eurovision Song-contest in 2009 and many people are really fond of his beautiful violin playing.
Donations came from fans from all over the world and they raised in total 2.600 Euro. This amount will be used for equipment of the new Maternity Ward. This ward is new built in 2012 as the demand for helping mothers is big. Yearly 6.000 women deliver their child in Haydom.
