There is a wide choise in lodges that you can use on your safaris. Some lodges have special fees for Haydom guests. You get these fees only if you make your booking directly with the hotel. A chepaer alternative for the lodges are the camping sites or the guesthouses outside the parcs. Prices range from $15 to $50 for a night.

ARUSHA

A very nice lodge at the North of Arusha; the only disadvantage is the bad road for the last 300 meter, but the accommodation, swimming pool and food are excellent; the manager is Dutch. When you book your room do it directly to the lodge and mention that you are Haydom volunteers; then you get the special Haydom price of US$60 for a double room or US$40 for a single room (prices for 2012, including breakfast). Situated at the crater rim, a luxury lodge you will enjoy. When you book mention you are from Haydom you get 10% discount on the room prices. Rates for 2013 are: double room HB $220, FB $250; single room HB $125 FB $140

Located in Karatu, close to the entrance of the Ngorongoro parc. A nice lodge with large rooms and a swimming pool, and good food. Haydom guests get residence price, which is for a double room HB $158 and FB $178.
TARANGIRE

A beautiful situated tented lodge, in the center of the park, viewing the Tarangire River. Normal prices are in the high season for a double room HB $320 per room; in May you pay $200 for a double room FB. When you want to stay outside of the Tarangire Park (is sometimes handy as the permit for the park is valuable for 24 hours) this is the best choise for a nice luxury lodge. Haydom guests get the special rate of FB $220 HB $190 for a double room or FB $170 HB $150 in the low season (April 1 to June 15) (prices per room)
